Elana + Alex: A St. Louis Union Station Wedding

Elana and Alex are truly a great pair.  They met through their mutual friend, Kathryn, at Kathryn's wedding, where they were both part of the wedding party.  They knew withing a matter of minutes that there was a spark between them and the rest is history.  (FUN FACT: Kathryn officiated Elana and Alex's wedding ceremony!

Elana and Alex currently live in Portland, Oregon.  In 2018, they flew Abbie out there to do their engagement session! The three of them adventured through Portland, including an incredible waterfall!  (Stay tuned for that blog to be up soon!) With Elana being from St. Louis, the couple decided that St. Louis Union Station would be the perfect location for their "I dos."

Their ceremony was held in the Gothic Corridor. The wedding planner Kristin, from Kristin Ashley Events, was instrumental in allowing us to have the time to take photos in there before it was set up. Kristin also got extra staff members to help remove all the furniture and these photos honestly became our favorites from the whole day!

The reception was in the Grand Hall at Union Station, with all of the magnificent details and colors throughout the room.  Everyone danced the night away to the live band, Galaxy Red!
