Meet The Mabie Family

This adorable family found out about ATP through a Google search... and my goodness, was I so happy they found me! When Mom called me to inquire about photos, she was so funny and bubbly -- which are the best kind of moms around, right?

They knew right away that they wanted a Family Session that was "outside of the box" with an urban touch. I am always excited when someone wants to get creative! When they showed up at the studio that morning for some coffee before the session, and they were all in their great colors -- I literally jumped up and down!!  I fell in love with Mom's dress.  The orange color is so fun!  (Mom did ask several questions about their wardrobe choices.  We always love helping clients style their sessions!)

Their kiddos each have their own individual personalities. L was quiet and shy, while A was a total spitfire! She stuck her tongue out at me after two minutes of being in the studio for a visit. It was then that I knew I adored her. :) (And how about the squinchy little eye when she smiles?!! AH! I LOVE IT!!)

Mom and Dad have been together for quite awhile. They have such a chill vibe together, and I really enjoyed that. Also, when they came in to order their prints - they also got some 5x7's of the photo of the two of them for their parents. Mom said, "Our parents were just complaining that they only get pictures of the grandkids and never ones of just us anymore. I'm kind of excited to give this to them!". How cool is that?

I love the following image. They ordered a 40-inch canvas of it for their (new!) home, and it sat in my studio for awhile while they were in the process of packing up their house. When Mom came to get it, I had a hard time letting it go...

As you can see, we all had a blast!
